Cruisers
Austro-Hungarian "Sankt Georg"
- Armoured Cruisers -

Italy had built three armoured cruisers of the Varese-class to match the A.-H. Kaiser Karl VI. Together with the next generation of A.-H battleships of the Erzherzog-class a new armoured cruiser was built with similar guns. The choice of an additional intermediate calibre was typical for this period. The cruiser made numerous overseas cruises and was part of the cruiser flotilla in WWI making various sorties. Disarmed in March 1918, allocated to GB in 1920 and scrapped in Italy.
