Submarines
Austro-Hungarian "Lake" Boats

Early 1904 the Austro-Hungarian naval-technical committee started to develop a submarine. To get more experience in this field they decided to buy some boats from different designers in 1905. The US shipbuilder Lake  was one of the competitors.
More details about these submarines in the article "Austro-Hungarian Submarines" by Erwin S. Sieche.
