Seaplane Tenders
Japanese "Mizuho

Designed and ordered in 1934 the Mizuho was laid down as a submarine support ship in 1937. Completed in 1939 she was converted from to a seaplane tender like the Nisshin..
  At the outbreak of the war she belonged to the 11th seaplane division. She was sunk  by the USS Drum on May 2nd 1942.
