Also referenced as 1st class armoured cruiser; laid down 09. Dec 1899 in Stettin (Germany); assigned to the Vladivostock squadron; participated in the Russian-Japanese War and WW I. Sold for scrap in 1922. The Bogatir became the prototype of  Oleg, Kagul and Ochakov, built in Russia.
